Project Overview

Indiglo is most advanced cargo vehicle service operated product. They provide optimised & advanced functional vehicles powered by GPRS, GPS and Bluetooth technology that gives freedom to take and return vehicles from all major places in the city using the Indiglo app. 


My Role:


As a UX/UI designer, I led the end-to-end design process—including concepting, prototyping, visual design, interaction design, and front-end collaboration during development.

Problem Statement

About

The motive of this project was to build the app “lndiglo EV” and HMI considering ongoing problems with sellers for two wheelers for the multipurpose usage.

Example : Salesman.


This application can help the user to use an eco-friendly bikes around urban spaces. The main purpose of the app is to play the process from taking a bike to returning it in an easy way.

The existing apps which are in market are functional for a single purpose of bike usage. As ‘lndiglo’ introduces multiple purpose , this app is connected to the E-bike where user can manage the bike services with one touch in hand.

Example : Lock-Unlock Bike, Search Location, etc.

Problem Statement

Few of major problems that were identified during the research are:

In the market there is no infotainment for In-house services E-bikes right now

. Pollution

. Petrol & Diesel Rates Hike

. There is no Flexibility in sales management

. Every individual doesn’t have two wheeler vehicle

. Finding the affordable sales services in the market

. CO2 Prevented

Overview

Indiglo is most advanced cargo vehicle service operated product. They provide optimised & advanced functional vehicles powered by GPRS, GPS and Bluetooth technology that gives freedom to take and return vehicles from all major places in the city using the Indiglo app.

During this Research we have interviewed around 15 users and tried to understand what their expectations are, and what are the concerns and what are the features they feel it should be there. The interviews which we conducted were recorded and analyzed further in research analysis. Some of the questions are mentioned below.

1. Do you use any vehicle for sales?

3. How often you get an auto or vehicle in an afforadable price for cargo transportation ?

4. How much will a cargo bike will help you as a seller with ease travel commute?

5. How often do you use transportaion that allows load carry?

6. What kind of problems do you face when using cargo transportation?

7. What is most important for you in a cargo transportation (safety, speed, cleanliness etc.) ?

Goal

Indiglo has come up with an electric motorbike product, designed for the Indian market. In the pursuit of understanding the market, Indilgo soon realized that in the country where 65% population is under 35 years old, there are around a billion tech-literate young adults who prefer bikes much over cars as it helps in smooth daily commuting. Indilgo is an appilcation to assist the user to remotely manage and monitor the smart bike. Indiglo will be having an upper hand over petrol/diesel bikes, Ebike will be eco friendly.

Design Process

The Project was based on Design Thinking Methodology.Design thinking is a non-linear, iterative process that teams use to understand users, challange assumptions, redefine problems and create innovative solutions to prototype and test, involving five phases -- Emphathize,Define,Ideate,Prototype and Test --It is most useful to tackle problems that are ill-defined or unknown.

Research

The Research data was colleted from an online survey using microsoft forms. We have analyzed a pattern, and similarity in what the potential user may need ,The questions were related to how the vehicle services are available in the industry and how the distribution of vehicles to individuals.
